Molten Core Gehenas

Gehennas Encounter Abilities

Shadow Bolt
•Rain of Fire: Wlkみたいな場所タゲするタイプのAE。範囲外に走ればOK

続きはいずれGehenasRaid build: Every group should have its own means of curing curses, preferably druids so mages can focus on damage. Group 1-2 - The main tanks (MT) groups should be composed of 1 Warrior, 1 Priest, 1 Paladin, 1 Druid and 1 Warlock. The Paladin and Warlocks are there for support purposes. (Devotion aura+ Pet HP buff). The druid is there to handle curses and combat rez the MT if he dies. The priest and the paladin are healers first and foremost. Group 3-4 - The main healer (MH) groups should be composed of 1 Paladins, 1 Priests and 1 Druid and ranged classes. This group handles it's own healing rotation, their job is the healing of the MT groups and keeping themselves alive. Only 1 healers (Pally+Priest) should ever be healing at the same time. The others are to rest or handle internal group healing as needed. The Druid is there for Curses and Innervate. If the Druid in one of the MT group dies the druid in the MH group will battle rez him. Paladins should use Fire protection aura. Group 5-8 - The damage (DPS) groups (4) should be balanced groups that are auto sufficient and somewhat high dps (DPS). Most of them should have Mages, Hunters, Priests, and 1 backup healer (Paladin or Druid). I am aware that there will be many Rogues and Warriors for this fights on normal raids so you will have to find them a spot in one of these groups. Their job is to provide dps once the adds have been cleared. Those groups should be self sufficient and provide their own healing. If they feel they cannot keep on with the healing just pull back to rest. Their main job is staying alive and not be dependant on other group for healing and support. Hunters should be at max range and mages too if they can afford it. Rogues should engage Gehenas only if their healers have some mana to spare and pull out whenever the healer cannot provide healing anymore. Paladins should use Fire protection aura. Why 2 MT ? : For this fight having just 1 MT is very risky, the curse can land at very bad moments and spell doom for the MT faster than anyone can heal him, it happens a lot and we have seen it first hand. What we do to correct this is have a secondary main tank group. This group doesen’t have to be as healer heavy as the first one since it's there to backup the MT in case he dies. If the original MT dies the healers of his group will help the healing of the new MT. Initial Fight setup: (Phase 1)Group 1 will engage Gehenas as close to the wall he's standing next to as possible. Group 2 will move north to off tank the unmarked add until groups 5-8 can help kill it. (Means the Surger needs to be dealt with first)Group 3 will be in the middle of the room and provide main healing for the MT. Group 4 will stay in the center and profide healing to group 2 if it is necessary. Group 5-8 will engage the marked add first south. In fight movement: (Phase 2)Group 1 and 3 will not change their positions much, they will only readjust their positions to be outside the Rain of fire. Group 2 and 4 will move to the same respective locations as group 1 and 3 and duplicate what they are doing as soon as the adds are dead. Group 5 to 8 will move near the edge of the lava and provide ranged dps as soon as both the adds are dead. IMPORTANT - When Adds have been dealth with the MT will move Gehenas to the center of the room. All groups should be spread out around Gehenas to ensure the least amount of people get hit by the Rain of Fire.In fight Healing: Group 1 will provide healing as necessary but not over heal so they can save some mana. Group 2 will heal as needed without saving mana in phase 1 and start conserving mana when they are on Gehenas. Group 3 will heal as needed without saving mana to keep the MT group and their group alive during phase 1 and start resting/saving mana on phase 2. Group 4 will conserve mana and only heal if necessary in phase 1, they will heal as needed in phase 2 to cover group 3. Group 5 to 8 will heal conservatively during both phases. If the entire group is low on mana they may pull back and rest. Killing Gehenas: The main tank will have Gehenas far away from the raid group in phase 1. This helps all the other groups so they do not have to deal with the curses yet.Once both Adds are dead the primary MT should have solid agro so it's safe to unload on Gehenas. The MT will move Gehenas to the middle of the room while every group spreads out evenly around Gehenas. The secondary MT will start building agro but will not use taunt, sunder or mocking blow; he is to build agro but save those abilities in case the MT dies. Hunters should Feign death every now and then and watch for resists, (if you get resisted stop shooting for a while). Mages should use arcane missiles unless they have extended range on their frost bolts (so they can nuke from outside Gehenas range). Rogues can go and melee if their group is capable of healing. Warlocks can use shadow bolts on him. Avoid using fire dmg spells, it has minimal effects on Gehenas. Curing curses should be done naturally but don't rush it. The only targets at risk are the MT's and they have someone assigned to handle their curses. Everyone else should handle curses for their own group. If your curse curer dies announce it and have a mage handle curses for your group. It’s safe to Zerg Gehenas but be wary of him doing a point blank rain of fire when you do that. If that happens make sure the MT moves gehenas outside it and reposition himself after it.If everyone does their job properly this fight should end up pretty quickly with minimal deaths (you will probably have deaths on this fight so don't worry about it). Having shadow protection (from priests) helps and shadow protection potions are a nice way of preventing accidental death from the Shadow bolts + Rain of Fire. Well hope this helps, if you have any questions feel free to ask them. Treebark
